Transplant Education for Living Legacies

TELL (Transplant Education for Living Legacies) is a South African patient-founded, patient-led non-profit working to improve organ and tissue donation.

We work across three areas:

• accredited education for healthcare professionals
• public awareness and normalising conversations about donation
• support for patients and families living with transplantation.

South Africa's deceased donor rate remains around 1.4 donors per million population, well below comparable countries, and much of that shortfall begins with potential donors going unrecognised at the frontline. Our clinical education programmes are built to close that gap.
