"The music was wonderful and the soprano superb."

"I greatly enjoyed the combination of the choir singing and then the audience participation, it worked really well. Also loved the oboe solo from Tim Roberts, a highlight. Thank you for a most enjoyable concert. My one negative comment concerns the church: the Lutheran church does not have a sign outside on the corner so that you are confident to turn in; a sign would help, and of course parking was a bit of a problem because the church was full. So glad to see a full house and such an enthusiastic audience."

"This was a delightful event! The diversity of the music, the atmosphere and the treats afterwards all made this an extraordinary festive occasion."

"I took my friend from Germany along. She became a member of the Johannesburg Bach Choir in 1984 and took part in the 20th anniversary concert. She thought that Sunday's performance was beautiful."

"What an excellent concert. Ruth Coggin on the organ was fantastic as were all the individual singers, the choir and the instrumentalists. Great time and St John's ideal venue."
