"My first Habitat! It was transcendental. The music, the quality of the sound, the venue, the energy of the people were next level. The music was outstanding, the variety and quality of the trance was some of the best I’ve ever heard. Even better than Love and Light and better than Into the Wild when they were at their peak! I also loved the crowd, the crowd makes such a difference to the experience. They are chilled and genuine music lovers - no posers, influencers, and boujie scenish kak. And I think that the age restriction made a difference. I loved that there were lekker areas to chill around the stage - that made for such a lekker overall experience. The food vendors were great too, I had a delicious schwarma. What I think is also important is the size - there weren’t too many people and the event felt very safe. The security team was top notch and friendly, but also vigilant. People weren’t sloppy drunk, and there weren’t any people whose energy felt like they were there to get pissed, fight, or cause kak. So the space remained relatively clean and easy to navigate. I could only stay the one night but I am dead keen to pull through for both nights. "
