Physically disabled lawn bowls world champion fund

About

I, Desiree Levin, after being affected with Guillian-Barre Syndrome in 2009, became a Physically Disabled person. I joined the organisation of Physically Disabled Bowlers South Africa (PDBSA) in 2014 and became the number 1 female bowler, as rated by the National competition and points allocations, in South Africa

I represented South Africa at the physically disabled lawn bowls WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS held in New Zealand in 2015 and won Bronze medals in Singles and Mixed Pairs.

I retained the National champion Singles title every year up to 2022.

In 2023 I was pipped by 1 shot for the title.

In 2022 I represented South Africa at the Common Wealth Games in Birmingham where I again won a Bronze medal in the Ladies Pairs.

I am now the most eligible individual based on national seed ratings to again represent South Africa at the World Bowls in Australia in 2023.

However, Bowls South Africa (BSA) and PDBSA/have discriminated against the ladies and declined to send a team to this World Bowls event.

I am appealing to all and anyone who will aid me in raising funds to have this discrimination by Bowls South Africa and PDBSA overturned by an urgent application in the High Court of South Africa.

Please can you assist me to live my dream and in the battle of Discrimination against Women with a Disability.

World Bowls in Australia have granted an extension for the entry registration if we are able to successfully get the ruling over turned.
