Help Us Help Ourselves

Hello!

We are a group of six women who got together to brainstorm ways to earn money for ourselves. We were part of the many people who lost their jobs during the pandemic. Life does go on regardless, and through forming a sewing group, we have managed to keep food on the table for our families and to keep the kids in school.

Together, we create gorgeous pet products such as dog leads, harnesses, high-quality collars, adorable pet clothing, and a variety of pet bed designs for cats and dogs in many sizes. We named our brand "Lucky Munchkins - Pet Products for Su-paw-stars!" We have managed to support ourselves - not on a grand scale yet, but opportunities do exist. If we had capital to set up a proper business, we could definitely do more. There is room for expansion, and we could even employ more women. Unemployment and poverty are rife in South Africa at the moment. We want to supply stores and possibly open our own shop at our sewing studio in Woodstock. All of this is only possible with funding - and we need your help to proceed with our dream.

We have had much interest in our products and have clients lined up should we be able to raise money to give this company a proper chance to succeed in the longterm. Please consider donating to our cause - the ripple effect of your donation is far reaching. Times are especially tough for a lot of people right now. We counted the other day and, at the moment, we directly impact the lives of 40 people living with extreme poverty. Unemployed family members, the children and even some neighbours benefit by being able to share a meal now and then.

We are running a fundraising campaign to raise the capital needed for our start-up. We will have a lucky draw at the end of the fundraiser, and you could be one of the LUCKY ones to win the first, second or third prize.
