Help Francois go to the World Hip Hop Championship

RE: INTERNATIONAL DANCE ORGANIZATION HIP HOP & POPPING / HIP HOP BATTLES & BREAKING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS – GRAZ, AUSTRIA: 26 – 30 OCTOBER 2022

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Francois Hattingh has competed in a series of provincial competitions and one national competition during the course of 2022, and has qualified to participate in the IDO World Hip Hop & Popping / Hip Hop Battles & Breakdance Championships from the 26th - 30 October 2022 in Graz, Austria.

It is a great honour to have qualified to represent South Africa in this event where over 3000 of the top dancers in the world come together to compete.

The World Championships are hosted annually by the International Dance Organisation which is a World Dance and Dance Sport Federation with a membership of over 90 nations, representing more than 250,000 dancers from six continents.

Francois Hattingh will in due course receive his official Protea Colours which is indeed the highest honour that can be bestowed upon a sportsman or woman in South Africa. We wish Francois Hattingh everything of the best at the World Championships and know that he will carry the flag high.

Please note that a dancer can’t receive their Protea Colours based on intention to travel. Dancers need to physically represent South Africa at the IDO World Championships in order to receive their Protea Colours.
