Lourdes Primary School Leadership Camp

Lourdes Primary School, found in Diepkloof, Soweto, is a primary school with over 700 students walking the hallways.

In an environment of difficult socio-economic pressures, many students face the harsh realities of life in South Africa, in their own homes.

Faced with increasing gun violence, gender-based violence, and substance abuse, the children of Lourdes Primary absorb high levels of trauma in their community.

With little to no resources for coping and recovery, the frustration and stress the learners face often manifests through bullying.

This Mandela Day, join TLT Foundation (NPC Reg 2018/451607/08) in contending for our youth!

 We are rallying partners/donors/sponsors to join us on our mission to help us provide a transformational Leadership Camp for the Grade 6 & Grade 7 learners of Lourdes Primary School this #MandelaDay2022. The campaign will be running from Friday, 15th of July, until the 31st of July. You can get involved in your individual capacity or as an organisation.

This camp will allow us to host workshops on Bullying and GBV, while providing counselling and support in a beautiful, fun, and safe environment.
