Four Zimbabwean refugees with no prior wine experience making their way to the most exclusive wine tasting competition in the world are captivating. It’s a beautiful and inspiring story that’s been made possible with the crowdfunding initiated by wine legend Jancis Robinson MW OBE.

The narrative must continue to empower more African wine tasters to this level of skill and international exposure. As much as team Zimbabwe and team South Africa are competing against each other in the award-winning movie Blind Ambition, they also combine resources to make sure Africa makes the headlines again.

Training toward this competition, importing benchmark wines, and traveling 10 000km to Champagne on October 8^th 2022 is not an affordable budget for these young and passionate enthusiasts. All support will be greatly appreciated in order to make their dream continue.

Training, preparing, registering and flying the two team is a budget of R500000. (about €30000)
