BontleFela Needs you!

About

We’ve entered an era where we feel our future is no longer guaranteed. As the economy continues to fall and job security has vanished, survival is the only thing that runs deep.

While on a walk in Centurion, I stumbled across BontleFela Street Delicatessen. A food stall with so much to offer. Curious as I was, I met the owner Kagiso Mongale the 36 year old Entrepreneur and a single parent to a beautiful 10 months old girl and was keen on hearing his story. I wanted to know what would encourage someone to start a food stall in an unstable economy and also how to does he manage being a full time father to an infant.

Kagiso started nurturing his passion at a young age. His catering establishment became more of a lifestyle, where he was able to combine his love for food and entertainment. While building and learning, he was hit by the dark year we all call 2020. Forced to hit the snooze button, Kagiso never gave up. He took some time from running his business to thinking of different and innovative ways to keep BontleFela alive. He wants people around him to have access to good quality meals that won’t break the bank. His menu ranges from local favourite Boerewors rolls, to gourmet burgers, to typical African dishes.

Opened Tuesday to Saturday, from 8:00-17:00; BontleFela Street Delicatessen needs your support. The decline of food establishments in South Africa over the past year has been shocking. Everyday you hear about another enterprise closing its doors due to this pandemic. Dreams being shattered and hope being lost. As a community, let's stand behind and support our local entrepreneurs like Kagiso Mongale.
