How to enter -

1. Donate a minimum of R150 via this Quicket page to Fight Back SA. A R150 donation = 1 entry into all 5 getaway giveaways + the bonus prize (provided you enter before the Getaway Giveaway Week begins). A R300 donation = doubles your chances, etc.
2. Be sure to leave your email address details behind when you make your donation as this will be how we contact you!
3. For a free extra entry (only counted after you've donated), share our most recent Instagram post to your Instagram story and tag us @fightback_sa and the person(s) you'd take with you if you won! Please send us a screenshot of your share if your account is on private!

COMPETITION DETAILS:

Why a R150 donation entry fee?

• This sponsors 10 womxn/children to attend one of our self-defense workshops where they will also receive a free pepper spray to keep. Our workshops are carefully tailored to the needs of each community: If one community is struggling with gun violence, we teach these womxn/children how to disarm a gun - another may have frequent stabbings so we'll go in to teach them how to disarm a knife.
• One donation of R150 enters you into all 5 days (6 prizes) of our Getaway Giveaway Week* provided you enter before any winners begin being announced. If you win one of the prizes? Your name will still be entered into the remaining draws.

What is our 'Getaway Giveaway Week'?

• Our Getaway Giveaway Week runs from the 24 - 28 May 2021.
• Over this week, Fight Back SA will be announcing one winner each day for one of the five accommodation spots up for grabs PLUS a winner of our bonus prize!

(1) Angala Boutique Hotel. [Paarl, Western Cape]

Angala is an 11-room boutique hotel nestled in the foothill of the Simonsberg mountain in the Cape Winelands. We are a retreat like destination with hydro wellness facilities (Eco pool, Infrared Sauna, Steam Room, heated plunge pool and Ozonated pool), mountain walks or biking directly from the hotel, in-room spa treatments and on-site restaurant that caters to all dietary requirements and lifestyle eat choices.

(2) Southern Yurts. [Botrivier, Western Cape]

Southern Yurts is located on Porcupine Hills Guest Farm, which is home to both a small olive growing operation and nature conservancy. Guests staying at the Yurt Camp are situated in the conservancy and have full access to the farm during their stay. The farm itself has a wide rang of activities and there are even more in the local region.

The Yurt Camp is equipped with solar power and charging facilities, gas stove tops for cooking, fridges, crockery, cutlery, utensils, braai facilities, firewood, firelighters, soaps, shampoos, salt, pepper and farm's homegrown organic olive oil. You need to only bring your food and drinks.

(3) Cederberg Ridge Wilderness Lodge. [Clanwilliam, Western Cape]

Cederberg Ridge is a luxurious wilderness lodge offering delicious food, hospitality and adventure. The lodge overlooks the panorama of the Cederberg Mountains with its unique raw, rugged beauty. But this stylish retreat is within easy reach of Cape Town and the Winelands (2½ hours scenic drive).

It offers the authentic ambience of a modern African farmhouse with much use of wood, natural materials and earthy tones. Yet the striking steel windows bring a contemporary touch. (4) Copia Eco Cabins. [Botrivier, Western Cape]

Copia Eco Cabins is situated on a working farm in the Bot river valley, about a 90 minute drive from Cape Town. We convert old shipping containers into eco-friendly, self-catering accommodation. We have three cabins on the farm namely Copia, Lone Tree & Waterval. 

We provide all the luxuries you will need during your stay. Bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery, pantry items like plunger coffee, basic spices, rusks & eggs, braai equipment, braai wood & TP just to name a few. 

All you need to pack is your eats, treats, something to drink & maybe some extra ice for those G&T’s. Do not forget your swimming kit. Each cabin has its own wood fired hot tub on the deck. We can’t recommend this highly enough

(5) Rockhaven Farm. [Elgin, Western Cape]

Nestled deep within the Elgin Valley, only an hour from the metropolis of Cape Town, lies the sanctuary of tranquillity that is Rockhaven Farm. Surrounded by stunning mountain vista’s, and the Cape’s one-of-a-kind Fynbos, it is the perfect location.

Frog Cottage comfortably sleeps six in three spacious en-suite rooms. The bathrooms all have underfloor heating, the latest fixtures and either free standing baths or walk-in showers. The bedrooms come equipped with queen sized beds, the finest linens, spectacular views of the Elgin Valley, and a mix of classic and contemporary pieces that create the perfect atmosphere for a great night’s sleep.

Terms and Conditions*:

1. Entries open Monday 03 May 2021 and remain open until the last getaway giveaway winner is drawn on the 28 May 2021.
2. Our Getaway Giveaway Week runs from the Monday 24 May 2021 - Friday 28 May 2021.
3. There are a total of 5 getaway prizes to be won as well as an additional bonus prize. Only one getaway prize is given away each day to one lucky winner during the Getaway Giveaway Week.
4. A donation of R150 enters a person into all 5 Giveaway Getaway prizes, provided one enters before our Getaway Giveaway Week begins. A person may enter after the Getaway Giveaway Week has started, however, the person will only be entered into the remaining giveaways.
5. Donations that go up in increments of R150 will be counted as additional entries (ie. A R150 donation enters a person into all remaining getaway giveaways; A R300 donation then doubles their chances, etc)
6. A person’s name will not be taken out of the draw for the next giveaway prizes if they have won a prize. Therefore, a person may stand stand a chance of winning more than one giveaway prize upon their R150 donation entry.
7. Entries made before 12h00 will included in the luck draw for that day. Entries made after 12h00 will be included in the next day's lucky draw.
8. Donations must be made through this Quicket link in order to be counted as an entry into this competition.
9. Once we have put the winner in contact with the relevant lodge, Fight Back is not responsible for the organisation and/or redemption of this prize. Fight Back SA will not be held liable to entrants of this competition for any prizes, loss or damage whatsoever and howsoever arising from the running, or otherwise, of this competition.
10. Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
11. Each accommodation has their own set of Ts & Cs (voucher expiry dates, what is included in your prize, etc) which apply which winners must abide to. Booking are always subject to availability.
12. Winners will be picked using an independent digital application and platform which will select winners at random from an input list submitted by Fight Back SA. The names drawn by this application will be final. Winners will be contacted via email.
