Almost every girl can remember the first time they got their period. I can tell the story like it happened yesterday lol. The emotions that come with transitioning into that stage of early childhood can be stressful for young girls and for some having to deal with all that and lack of basic resources can affect one’s self esteem and academics. So, to a little girl who’s still trying to figure who she is in this world, whose parents are doing the best they can but are struggling to provide basic monthly toiletries that help her in menstrual cycle. Help that girl have one less thing to worry about. Help her enjoy her childhood. With a donation from as little as R10 can go a long way. The City on Heel organisation will be visiting schools in Gauteng over these coming months, to donate sanitary pads and teach young girls about having confidence to make their mark in the universe.
