MANKALA brings together legends of Afrikan music that collaborate to take burners on a journey that explores the deep and ancient rhythms of Afrika.

Mankala is radical expression of indigenous Afrikan culture & heritage that is explored through live and interactive traditional music, dance, poetry & storytelling workshops and performances.

Mankala is building a new performance area at AfrikaBURN 2021 and is raising funds to ensure that we can take the most amount of artists and instruments as possible for burners to use.

We need funds for vehicle hire for equipment & instruments and artists transport & meals. Please help us to ensure that AfrikaBURN is a truly unique and Afrikan celebration of radical self expression....and the culture and heritage of our deep & enigmatic continent.
