Fight for Flight Fundraiser

House of Embroidery in collaboration with artists and influencers presents Fight For Flight, a fundraising initiative benefiting Home of Hope and The Frida Hartley Foundation. This Woman's Month we need to support women more than ever, with the devastating effects of Covid-19 and lock-down in South Africa resulting in escalated cases of domestic violence and violence against woman and children. All funds raised will be donated directly to the Home of Hope in Berea, Johannesburg and The Frida Hartley Foundation in Yeoville, Johannesburg. Both of these project strive to restore dignity and offer shelter to woman and children suffering the effects of neglect, homelessness, abuse and trauma.

We have a wonderful hamper up for raffle, featuring a one of a kind hand- embroidered face mask created by renowned embroidery artist Danielle Clough and constructed by South- African designer Joel Janse van Vuuren. Our prize also includes two beautiful 60 page notebooks from Wanderland Collective, featuring designs developed by artist and designer Victoria Verbaan. A selection of House of Embroidery threads as well as a stunning 100% silk scarf and hand painted earrings complete this perfect prize.

Our Raffle will be running for the entirety of Woman's Month and our final draw will take place on Monday 31 August 2020.

A minimum donation of R100 enters you into the raffle.

Final cutoff day for donations will be 30 August 2020. Prize will be delivered locally with courier or internationally with FedEx Priority.
