Shoots and Leaves Umhlanga

Plant Based 101 Durban

In 2019, veganism made it into mainstream media with the help of documentaries like The Game Changers. So you’re trying to go more plant-based, but now what? What do you eat? Where do you get your protein from? How do you possibly navigate the supermarket?

We’re hoping to answer all of these questions and a lot more at our Plant Based 101 event, just in time for Veganuary. If you’re not yet on the plant-based train, that’s okay too! Our event is open to everyone interested in a plant-based diet and will be especially helpful to anyone taking the Veganuary pledge this January.

What can you expect at this fun and interactive evening?

·       Welcome drinks and multiple dishes of gourmet plant-based food.

·       An exclusive first taste of new Fry’s products.

·       Nutritional advice from experts in the industry.

·       Answers to all your questions and myths around plant-based diets.

·       A shopping guide for new vegans.
