Using evidence and learning in strategic planning

Strategic planning is a formal yet flexible process to determine where an organisation is currently and where it should be the future[1]. Evidence and learning should inform the ascertainment of the current status but should at the same time serve the purpose of predicting the future.

Participants will understand:

·        The key components of a strategic planning process

·        The role of evidence and learning in strategic planning

·        Best practice examples where evidence and learning are used in strategic planning
