Bainskloof – Hole in the Roof Hike
Join us for a fantastic swimming hike featuring beautiful waterfalls and pools!
- Meeting Point: (open veld just past Wellington Wines/Dukes Kitchen) –
We will meet here at 07:15 and carpool/reduce vehicles due to parking constraints.
- Destination: 2de Tol or along the road (to be confirmed closer to the time depending on Cape Nature).
- Distance: 9 km
- Elevation: 400 m
- Grading: 2B-Orange / 2B-Red
- Permits: R60.00 (Book your permit via CapeNature Limietberg Hiking book Rock Hopper )
Note if you are the driver of the car please book a picnic site so you can park. (tip we booked site 17 so try to get sites in that area 16 backwards.)
Trail Details: A lovely, scenic water hike! The route involves a bit of technical walking over rocks, but a shortcut option can be arranged for those looking for a less strenuous route.
Bring Watershoes if you have.
