The Melville Mzansi Art Expo 2026, presented by Hippopcorn Foundation, is a dynamic week-long celebration of South African art, culture, music and creative enterprise.

The 2026 edition brings together artists, musicians, emerging creatives, collectors, entrepreneurs, artisans, cultural practitioners and the public through a programme of exhibitions, creative markets, panel discussions, industry conversations, activations, traditional games and live entertainment.

This year's edition features a strategic partnership with Joburg Artist Market, with the Gauteng Department of Health as a Strategic Partner. The Expo is further supported by Melanin Zone, Nedbank, Studio79, Indoni Art House / Indoni Arts and The Artisan Restaurant & Cocktail Bar.
