A NIGHT TO REMEMBER WITH LIGHTS

THE DISCOVERY OF TITANIC • MEYERTON

ONE NIGHT ONLY • SUNDAY, 27 SEPTEMBER 2026 • 18:00–21:00

Following two previously sold-out LED events, the hugely popular "A Night to Remember with Lights" comes to Riverstone Mall in Meyerton for one very special night, commemorating the 41st Anniversary of the Discovery of the Wreck of RMS Titanic.

On 1 September 1985, Dr Robert Ballard and his expedition team located Titanic's long-lost wreck deep beneath the North Atlantic. Now, 41 years later, The New Titanic Museum SA brings this remarkable anniversary to Riverstone Mall for an exclusive after-hours Titanic experience. Step into the darkness of the past and uncover a First-Class evening hosted by Gino Hart - designer of the famous 8.7 meter *(28.5 ft) "TINTANIC", combining dinner, rare Titanic artifacts, spectacular model display dioramas and the dramatic illumination of “TINTANIC” herself with 100 meters of LED lighting after the mall has closed.

THE EVENING INCLUDES:

Dinner at Del Forno. Choose from one of a variety of specially selected meal items, including vegetarian options, accompanied by a glass of house wine, beer or a non-alcoholic beverage. Hot drinks such as coffee, tea or cappuccino alternatives available as a substitute. *Please note that any additional drinks or food items beyond the set menu selection are billed separately to the Passengers own account.

DISPLAYS:

• 1:200 Trumpeter RMS Titanic, fully illuminated

• 1:37 JOOHOUR Grand Staircase, with LED lighting and upgrade parts

• The extraordinary miniature MENG “Baby Titanic, one of the smallest Titanic model kits in the world!

UNVEILING OF NEVER BEFORE SEEN PHOTOGRAPHS

Previously unseen photographs from private family archives will be unveiled, revealing fascinating South African connections to Titanic. Presented through The New Titanic Museum SA, never-before-seen photographs of South African Titanic survivor Edith Brown Haisman are unveiled for the first time - courtesy of Robert Martin, Australian filmmaker and Producer of "TITANIC, 100 YEARS, THEN AND NOW", also, with courtesy of David Haisman and the Haisman family private album archives.

After dinner, passengers will proceed from Del Forno to the main exhibition floor, where the 8.7 meter *(28.5 ft.) "TINTANIC" will be lit up with her 100-metres LED lighting system, illuminating Africa's largest Titanic model and revealing her illuminated features. An experience unavailable to ordinary daytime visitors.
