Profile: "TINTANIC" is the largest Titanic model in Africa - made of "tin". She was created by local South African artist Gino Hart over a period of five years and ranks as the fourth largest Titanic model in the world at a staggering size of 8.7m *(28.5 ft) long. The model is unique in the sense that it has more than 4000+ rooms on 9 different internal deck levels, and the outer aluminium hull is held together by more 105 000 real pop rivets. The Exhibition features the "TINTANIC" as the centerpiece, surrounded by enlarged model sets which offers visitors the feeling of being on board the real ship, complete with faux potted palms, a fireplace and a grand piano. With more than 150 beauty enhanced historical photographs built into the large-scale panel sets, THE "TINTANIC" EXHIBITION now tells The South African Story with a focus on real South African Connections to the wreck. This exhibit can be found nowhere else in the world.

"Love the tour. Really alot of time and thought was put into this historical event. It is well worth the visit. Free coffee and biscuits after the tour. If you love history and the Titanic....it is a must see.You can even purchase a time piece for only R100. Heart of the seas earrings for only R50 if you want to earn a piece of the history. Excellent build of the Tintanic. Wow..... "
