JAZZ IS DAD: BRANDON AURA : MEET & GREET LIVE PERFORMANCE

Jazz Is Dad presents an intimate afternoon with Johannesburg-based singer-songwriter Brandon Aura at The Living Archive, 27 Boxes, Melville.

Often known as “The Folk Kid,” Brandon Aura is a Zimbabwean-born, South Africa-raised artist whose music brings together African folk influences, alternative pop and deeply personal storytelling. His work explores identity, love, growth, resilience and the experiences that shape us.

The afternoon will feature a special live performance and an opportunity to meet Brandon, hear more about his creative journey and connect with his music in an intimate setting.

Brandon’s latest single, “Run Boy,” released in July 2026, transforms a childhood phrase associated with survival and fear into a powerful reflection on resilience, hope and the courage to keep moving forward. The song speaks to the journey from simply running away from danger to finding a place where you can truly belong.
