Black City Culture is a Johannesburg-based cultural platform celebrating Black creativity through music, literature, and community experiences.

Through the Black City Culture Jazz Club, we curate intimate live sessions where vinyl spins, stories are shared, and musicians take us deeper into the spirit of jazz — past, present, and future.

Jazz Is Dad is our signature movement honouring fatherhood, legacy, and the music that raised us. Inspired by Sunday afternoon records, cassette tapes, and the greats like Moses Molelekwa who shaped our sound, we create spaces where memory and mentorship meet.

We believe jazz is more than music.
