ABOUT
SAPRA Halloween is back - and bigger than ever!
Over the years, our Halloween celebration has become one of the highlights of the Saxonwold & Parkwood calendar. Last year we welcomed more than 1300 people for an unforgettable afternoon filled with costumes, treats and community spirit. The atmosphere was electric, and the laughter and excitement could be felt throughout the neighbourhood.
Growing bigger, getting better
The incredible growth of our Halloween event means we’re making some changes this year to ensure everyone enjoys the day safely and comfortably. With more families, more stops and more excitement than ever before, we’re also calling on residents across both Saxonwold and Parkwood to get involved - whether by dressing up, hosting a trick-or-treat stop or simply walking the route with your neighbours.
Why it matters — where your support goes
Halloween is more than just a fun afternoon out — it’s a chance to invest back into our neighbourhood. All the funds raised from community events like Halloween go directly into the upliftment and enhancement of Fearnhead Park.
Sweet donations
Funds raised through the sale of tickets cover the essentials — road closures, marshals, and everything that makes Halloween both safe and spectacular. But we still need your help with sweet and snack donations to make the afternoon magical for the kids. These will be shared amongst the houses and street stands.
Please either add a sweet donation to your tickets or you can make a cash donation directly to:
Bank: FNB
Account name: SAPRA
Account number: 63129202931
