Saxonwold and Parkwood Residents Association

About

The Saxonwold and Parkwood Residents Association (SAPRA) is a non-profit, non-aligned organisation dedicated to protecting, enhancing, and representing the interests of our community. Led by volunteers from Saxonwold and Parkwood, SAPRA serves as the voice of our residents and businesses, building strong connections within the neighbourhood and with the City of Johannesburg, service providers, and other key stakeholders.

We focus on preserving our unique heritage and environment, improving service delivery, promoting safety and security, and ensuring that any new developments or events align with the character of our suburbs. Through proactive engagement, advocacy, and hands-on projects, SAPRA works to create a safe, connected, and vibrant community for all who live, work, and play here.

Our values guide everything we do: integrity, accountability, respect, diversity, pride, sustainability, and non-partisanship. We believe in a community where everyone feels included, where our heritage is honoured, our environment protected, and our collective voice makes a real difference. Together, we are stronger—and together, we shape the future of Saxonwold and Parkwood.
