This month's edition is a special one as we celebrate the work of acclaimed lead actor *Sechaba Ramphele* with two compelling South African short films that showcase fresh, fearless storytelling.

Synopsis:
Over the span of one uneasy morning, two young adults find themselves locked inside a swanky Johannesburg apartment after a one-night stand, forcing them to confront awkwardness, vulnerability, and the fragile space between strangers.
About the directors:
Zigi Ndlhovu is a South African actor, filmmaker and creative entrepreneur whose work spans acting, directing, editing and producing. A graduate of AFDA, he has built a reputation for emotionally driven storytelling and co-founded Outre' Productions to champion bold, unconventional African narratives.
Gcinuhlanga Dibi is a South African actor and filmmaker whose creative practice centres on authentic, character-driven stories. As a co-founder of Outre' Productions, he collaborates on projects that push the boundaries of contemporary South African filmmaking.

Synopsis:
Three odd friends drive to a bookstore in search of a book that doesn't exist.
About the director:
Nqanawe Shangase is a filmmaker, writer and cultural storyteller whose work explores identity, youth culture and contemporary South African life. Alongside directing narrative films, he has contributed to film programming, media and creative development initiatives, championing emerging voices in African cinema.
