The Sankayi Jazz Series is a curated live music experience that brings some of South Africa’s leading artists into an intimate setting where music, atmosphere, and hospitality come together.

Award-winning guitarist, composer, and scholar Vuma Levin is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary South African jazz. Known for his thoughtful compositions and highly personal musical language, Levin’s work explores themes of identity, memory, and belonging, drawing from South African musical traditions while embracing modern jazz influences.

Having performed internationally and earned acclaim for both his recordings and live performances, Levin has established himself as a leading figure in a new generation of South African jazz artists.

Each evening features two live sets in a relaxed, seated environment. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy dinner before the performance.
