Sankayi Jazz Series

The Sankayi Jazz Series is a weekly live music experience presenting some of South Africa’s leading jazz artists every Friday night at Sankayi Restaurant in Morningside, Johannesburg.

Launched in May 2026, the series has quickly established itself as one of Johannesburg’s premier destinations for live jazz, welcoming acclaimed artists including Kyle Shepherd, Rorisang Sechele, McCoy Mrubata, and Nduduzo Makhathini.

Combining world-class music with exceptional hospitality, the series offers audiences an intimate concert experience in one of the city's most distinctive venues. Guests are invited to enjoy dinner and drinks before the performance, creating an evening where great music, food, and atmosphere come together.

Doors open at 18:00, with music beginning at 20:00.

Seating is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
