Bat Cave - Paarl Mountain
The Bat Cave hike is a moderate trail on Paarl Mountain, featuring scenic views of the Cape Winelands, unique granite rocks, and a narrow, steep climb to the cave itself. The cave can be explored, remember headlamp. It is done as a loop via Christmas Camp, down the side of Paarl Rocks towards Jan Phillips Mountain Drive, past Victoria Dam and back to the parking area where our hike began.
