Rorisang Sechele

The Sankayi Jazz Series is a curated live music experience that brings some of South Africa’s leading jazz artists to an intimate, listening-focused setting.

Hosted at Sankayi Restaurant & Lounge, the series offers a space where music, atmosphere, and hospitality come together, creating a consistent home for jazz in Johannesburg.

Rorisang Sechele is an emerging voice in South African jazz, known for her expressive vocal style and contemporary approach to the music. As a young artist gaining national recognition, she brings a fresh, engaging energy to the series.

Doors open at 18:00, and guests are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy dinner before the performance.

Music begins at 20:00 and will be presented in two sets in a relaxed, seated environment.
