COFFEE CUPPING
Join us on Saturday, 9th May for our second cupping of the year!
Cupping is the approach coffee professionals use to taste and assess coffees. It's also a great way to sample several coffees side by side.
As part of this session, we will talk you through why we use this approach and how to participate, so even if you've never attended a cupping before, you will be equipped to fully engage in the process. Experienced cuppers are also welcome, and we will explore a variety of coffees from our talented local roasting partners.
We will guide you through the cupping method and taste alongside you, helping you to draw the connection between the characteristics of the coffee—such as roast profile, variety, origin, and processing method—and what you taste. You'll also be given plenty of opportunities to ask questions along the way.
Whether you’re looking to refine your palate or simply curious about tasting coffee more intentionally, this guided session should be informative and fun. In addition to the coffees we cup, your ticket will also include some complimentary batch brew to enjoy on arrival.
