Freshlyground Releases Take Me Home and Announces a New Era with Mbali Makhoba

Multi-award-winning South African band returns after a five-year hiatus with the release of their new album, Take Me Home, now available on all major platforms.

Mbali Makhoba brings a soulful voice and compelling stage presence that signals both continuity and transformation. Raised in Imizamo Yethu in Cape Town, her journey reflects resilience and ambition. She recently made history within her family as the first to travel internationally, performing at the Lalela Foundation gala in New York City.
