Deli2Sea is BACK, baby!

After a 2-year breather, we are thrilled to announce the comeback of this much-loved movement, taking place on Sunday 6 December 2026.

Powered by Sealand and Chardonnay Deli, and in support of Protect our Paths and Guardians of the Deep, Deli2Sea is a celebration of people and planet. From mountain to sea, deli to deli, we’ll move together with purpose - leaving every path and pavement cleaner, brighter, and better than we found it.

We’ll walk, run, wiggle and vibe our way from Chardonnay Deli Constantia to Chardonnay Deli Kalk Bay (15km-ish), soaking up the best of our backyard (and picking up litter) along the way. Think community energy, ocean air, happy feet, big smiles, and a whole lot of gees.

The grand finale?

A salty dip at Dalebrook, a celebratory boogie on the beach, and well-earned sips and bites by Chardonnay Deli with your fellow movers, shakers, and wave-makers.

As always, Deli2Sea is a FUNdraiser:

Proceeds from Deli2Sea will go towards Protect our Paths, a local social & environmental organisation working to empower individuals and communities to protect and preserve our natural spaces. A percentage of funds raised will also go to Guardians of the Deep, a marine conservation NGO dedicated to building ocean stewardship through education, advocacy, and community-led action.

So bring your takkies, your costume, and your best boogie energy.

Event schedule:

• Registration: from 6am
• Start: 7am sharp from Chardonnay Deli Constantia
• Finish: Cut-off at 12:00 at Chardonnay Deli Kalk Bay
• Timing: This is a non-timed event - there are many prizes to be won, but not for speed (sorry, storm-chasers!)

At the finish line, head through the 'happy' tunnel at Dalebrook Pool, and follow the tunes for your post-run celebrations.

MYOB & MYOM (Make Your Own Bib & Make Your Own Medal)

We are committed to making this event as waste-free as possible!

We will not be supplying each runner with a traditional bib and medal. You are welcome to make your own (try use upcycled/recycled materials you have at home!)

There will be a prize for the most creative race numbers and medals.

What to bring (ESSENTIAL)

• Your Relate event bracelet AND your Trail Mate (bringing these is essential to participate!)
• Your own water bottle or running pack with reusable hydration flasks
• Something to swim in for a post-run dip!
• A cap, sunblock, good shoes - everything you need to safely run 15km!

Safety first, always:

• Run, walk, wiggle and vibe with a buddy (Coming solo? You’ll easily find a friend to run with on the day!)
• You participate at your own risk.
• Route marshals, medics, traffic officials, and security personnel will be stationed along the route.
• Our sweepers will follow behind to make sure everyone gets to the finish line safely.

Transport

Please Uber or carpool to the start where possible. There is no parking at the start.

Alternatively:

• Park at Constantia Village and walk or jog to the start (a nice warm-up!)

Please note: parking and transport at both start and finish are your own responsibility.

Mission: Protect our Paths

This is where we’re really counting on you.

Using your brand-new Trail Mate, collect litter as you make your way to Kalk Bay. There will be waste depot bins at the finish.

Together, we’re proving that community can come together and protect the places we love most.

Remember: It's not a race. It’s a movement.
