Protect our Paths Foundation

Protect our Paths Foundation is a South African social and environmental non-profit working at the intersection of people and planet. We believe that lasting environmental change is only possible when it goes hand in hand with social impact, empowering individuals and communities to become active custodians of the natural spaces we all share.

Our work is centred around two core pillars: our Custodian Programme and our awareness and behavioural change initiatives. Through these, we protect and restore South Africa's beaches, mountains, forests, and public spaces while inspiring people to take action through community clean-ups, environmental education, purpose-led events, and campaigns that foster lasting stewardship.

Every event we host is designed to deepen people's connection with nature, movement, wellbeing, and community. By transforming shared experiences into tangible impact, we help protect Cape Town's iconic outdoor spaces while inspiring individuals and communities to become active custodians of our natural playground.
