In association with The Cape Town Comedy Club join us for Tafelberg Punchlines with Purpose, a comedy night in support of Tafelberg School – a special needs school doing incredible work in our community.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the comedy content, this is an adults-only event. Tafelberg learners will not be permitted to attend.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Ticketing Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
- “Event” means the Tafelberg School (Bothasig) Comedy Night.
- “Venue” means Tafelberg School (Bothasig).
- “Organiser” means Tafelberg School (Bothasig) PTA (Parent Teacher Association).
- “Ticket Holder” / “you” means any person holding a valid Ticket to the Event.
2. Ticket Purchase & Validity
- Each Ticket grants the holder a revocable licence to attend the Event at the Venue.
- Tickets are valid only if purchased through an authorised ticketing agent (e.g. Quicket).
- Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain.
- The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any Ticket Holder with an invalid or duplicated Ticket.
- Tickets remain the property of the Organiser at all times.
3. Entry Requirements
- A valid Ticket must be presented on entry and upon request.
- Entry is restricted to persons 18 years and older only.
- Right of Admission Reserved (ROAR).
- The Organiser and Venue reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person without refund for:
- Intoxication or drug use
- Disorderly, abusive, or unsafe behaviour
- Refusal to comply with security procedures
4. Seating & Access
- Seating is unreserved and first-come, first-served unless otherwise specified.
- The Organiser reserves the right to allocate alternative seating or standing areas where required.
- Late entry may be delayed until a suitable break in the performance.
5. Security & Prohibited Items
- All persons and belongings may be subject to search.
- Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):
- Weapons, fireworks, illegal substances
- Glass containers or dangerous objects
- Recording equipment (professional cameras, video/audio devices)
- Noise-making devices (e.g. vuvuzelas, loudhailers)
- Items intended for sale or promotion
- The Organiser reserves the right to confiscate prohibited items or refuse entry.
6. Event Changes, Cancellation & Refunds
- The Organiser reserves the right to change, postpone, or cancel the Event at any time.
- Line-up or programme changes do not constitute cancellation.
- If the Event is cancelled in full, Ticket Holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket face value (and applicable service fees where required).
- If the Event is rescheduled, Tickets will remain valid for the new date.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows or late arrivals.
7. Behaviour & Conduct
- Ticket Holders must behave in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times.
- Any person posing a risk to the safety, enjoyment, or experience of others may be removed from the Venue without refund.
8. Liability Disclaimer
- Attendance at the Event is at your own risk.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser and Venue accept no liability for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal property
- Injury or death (except where caused by gross negligence)
- Parking, traffic, or access issues
- The quality of sound, lighting, or visibility
- Services provided by third-party vendors
9. Media & Recording
- By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded.
- The Organiser may use such media for promotional or commercial purposes without compensation.
10. Health & Safety
- No smoking is permitted inside the Venue.
- Loud music and lighting effects may be used.
- In case of emergency, all attendees must follow instructions from Venue staff and officials.
11. General
- These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
- If any provision is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Organiser and the Ticket Holder.
