Tree Walk & Talk (2026)
Sat Apr 18, 08:30 - Sat Apr 18, 11:30
The Sheds, Crocodile River Reserve
ABOUT
Trees are the backbone of our natural landscapes, quietly supporting life in ways we often overlook. From stabilising soil and managing water flow to providing shelter and food for birds, insects and mammals, trees play a vital role in keeping ecosystems healthy.
Join Theunis Morgenthau on Saturday, 18 April 2026 for a guided veld walk through the Crocodile River Reserve as we explore the fascinating diversity of Highveld trees. Learn how to recognise different species and discover the important roles they play in our environment.
We will meet at The Sheds from 8h30 to 11h30. And at R95.00 per adult or R45.00 per child, this a very affordable way to spend some truly quality time in the outdoors.
Date: Saturday 18th April 2026
Time: 8h30am to 11h30
Cost: R95.00 per adult and R45.00 per child under 12
Place: The Sheds @ Birdsong, Gemstone Road (off the R511) Crocodile River Reserve
