Valentines Picnic with the Katemba Trio | Johnman Concerts

The Katemba Trio returns to Johnman Concerts, this time for a very special evening picnic in the Johnman Gardens to celebrate Valentine's day. Blake Hellaby, a virtuous pianist, composer, and producer, sets the tone for dialogue with his expressive touch and rhythmic sensitivity. Schalk Joubert, award-winning bassist and composer, adds depth and character to the conversation with his blend of West African grooves. Bringing his international jazz experience into the trio, Pascal Haas, drummer, educator, and arranger, rounds up the conversation with his sensitive drumming style and versatile skillset.

Gardens open at 18:00 for the picnic.
