EllieBellie-produksies open Mimiekie, 'n lewendige teaterervaring vir nuuskierige gemoedere en verbeeldingryke harte by die Nasionale Kinderteater van 12-14 Februarie.
MIMIEKIE is ’n speelse, visueel ryk teaterproduksie wat gehore nooi om ’n wêreld van verbeelding, storievertelling en verwondering te betree. Die produksie, aangebied in Afrikaans, is spesiaal geskep vir kinders—en die jong van gees—en verweef mimiek, musiek, storievertelling en animasie tot ’n betowerende teaterervaring.Met ’n ervare kreatiewe span aan die stuur, vier MIMIEKIE die krag van stories wat deur beweging en beeld vertel word. Die sterk fokus op mimiek en fisiese storievertelling maak die vertoning toeganklik en genietbaar, selfs vir gehore wat nie Afrikaans as eerste taal praat nie.
Dit is teater wat nuuskierigheid prikkel, glimlagte ontlok en ruimte laat vir verbeelding — ’n gedeelde ervaring vir gesinne, leerders en almal wat glo in die magie van lewende teater. MIMIEKIE is a playful, visually rich live theatre production that invites audiences into a world of imagination, storytelling, and wonder. Presented in Afrikaans and created especially for young children—and the young at heart—the production blends mime, music, storytelling, and animation into one magical theatrical journey.
Led by an experienced creative team, MIMIEKIE celebrates the power of stories told through movement and imagery. The strong focus on mime and physical storytelling makes the performance accessible and engaging, even for audiences who are not first-language Afrikaans speakers.
