The National Children’s Theatre (NCT) is Gauteng’s leading theatre organization for children and youth, delivering educational, engaging, and award-winning performances across South Africa.
NCT’s mission is to transform young lives and nurture the next generation of leaders through vibrant theatre, original musicals, and immersive after-school programs.
Based at a 4.5-acre Johannesburg campus with multiple theatres, classrooms, and music spaces, NCT also tours productions to cities and rural communities nationwide.
Our workshops help children develop their artistic voices, social-emotional skills, collaboration, and self-expression, integrating the arts into learning and everyday life.
