About TRY;
The Township Rugby Youth programme (TRY), started in 2023 and held annually, ensures the unearthing of talent within township communities as a means of providing access to professional rugby pathways and related schooling and business opportunities.
The The Township Rugby Youth (TRY) Festival forms party of the annual TRY programme, and is a 1-day event that highlights the senior teams of the community clubs, allowing male and females aged 18–32 to compete against each other.
