TRY - Township Rugby Youth

The Township Rugby Youth programme (TRY), started in 2023 and held annually, ensures the unearthing of talent within township communities as a means of providing access to professional rugby pathways and sports related scholarship opportunities.

• The The Township Rugby Youth (TRY) Festival is a 1-day event that shifts its focus to the senior teams of the community clubs, allowing male and females aged 18–32 to compete.

• The Township Rugby Youth (TRY)Tournament is a 10 week rugby tournament, focusing on both Boys & Girls rugby from u11 - u17.
