A Queer Book Club & Library Tour with CTL × Cape Town Pride

This Valentine’s Day, make a date with books, stories, and fellow book lovers ????

For the Love of Books is a relaxed, welcoming Queer Book Club and Library Tour hosted by CTL in collaboration with Cape Town Pride.

We’ll start with a guided tour of the Cape Town Central Library, highlighting its wonderful queer book collection and spaces. After the tour, we’ll gather for a casual meet-and-greet — a chance to chat, connect, and share book recommendations in an easy, social setting.

You don’t need to be a big reader to join. Many people come for the conversations, the sense of community, and the shared love of stories. It’s a safe, inclusive space, and a lovely event to attend on your own — especially if you’re single and want to celebrate Valentine’s Day differently.

Afterwards, those who’d like to can join us for an indulgent chocolate and coffee experience at Rapt on Buitekant Street (optional, everyone pays for themselves).
