Donations to Isivuno Training

This event is purely to enable donations for the activities of our NPO, Isivuno Training. Every small amount makes a difference! A regular monthly donation will help us a lot! As a Non-Profit Organization Isivuno is dependent on donations to continue its operations.

The core purpose of Isivuno Training is to train people from disadvantaged and rural areas to implement a biblical based curriculum for children aged 3 to 6 years in preschools. Many children do not complete school, and research has shown that it is often because they were not prepared for the challenges of school during their early childhood development phase.

The Isivuno Curriculum has been designed to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to children, while preparing them for the challenges of Grage R and Grade 1. The outcomes of the curriculum are in line with the requirements of the Department of Basic Education in South Africa, for entry into the formal school system.

More than 1200 preschool teachers or prospective teachers have been trained to implement this curriculum in South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Zambia and Uganda since 2015. The head office of Isivuno Training is in Gqeberha with training centres in Mosselbay, Pretoria, Soshanguve, Kirkwood, Maun, Lusaka and Nairobi. Training is done face-to-face or online and is offered at a highly subsidized rate.

Isivuno Training is registered as a Non-Profit Organization (NPO) with the Department of Social Development as well as a Public Benefit Organization (PBO) with the South African Revenue Services. Isivuno can issue Section 18A tax exception certificates to South African donors.
