Isivuno Training

Isivuno Training offers Eary Childhood Development teacher training and support to preschool teachers of under-privileged children from disadvantaged areas. We especially focus on women who do not have a formal qualification, who desire to become a teacher or start a preschool and to those already providing a preschool service in homes, crèches and schools. This includes people who are already providing such a service, as well as people who want to start a new preschool.

Vision

Our vision is to empower, educate and assist women in starting and running of existing preschools in disadvantaged city and rural areas to enhance children’s futures. We offer preschool teachers a biblically based training and curriculum including lesson plans.

Our vision is inspired by Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it”.

Main focus

We offer 5-full days of teacher training. We impart to teachers the heart and passion of Isivuno in terms of excellence in educational practices towards children and for God!

Multiplication is how to have impact. We therefore have established Preschool Teacher Training Centres in Port Elizabeth, Mossel Bay, George, Soshanguve , Pretoria, Kenya, Zambia, Botswana and Uganda. We also follow up training with mentoring as that contributes to sustainability.
