ABOUT

The Wizarding Experience

A gathering for wizards, mages and magic-users from all universes

A fan-made, fan-focused event based on our favourite magical universes. Join us for a day filled with interactive lessons, quizzes, games, stalls, and more!

Our core magical academy returns with familiar first– through third-year subjects: Potions, Divination, and Herbology, and all the old favourites, taught by eccentric professors who bring the setting to life. We have a small selection of new options for current classes, and some new ones.

This year, new realms also open for exploration: the lands of elves, dwarves, and travelling hobbits; dragon-rider epics, wandering grey mages, sharp-witted flat-world storytellers, pink glowing-bubble enchantresses, steel-forged alchemists, and courts of powerful fae.

Each extended realm offers one to three themed activations.

Most extended-realm activities, classes, and workshops are paid add-ons and will be available on our website in January.

Included With Your Entrance Ticket

Fantasy Quizzes

Multiple themed quizzes across different universes, with separate sessions for adults and younger wizards.

Market Village

A large marketplace filled with handcrafted goods, fandom-inspired items, and vendors offering their own unique experiences.

Fancy Dress Competition

Show off your most magical attire for the chance to win prizes.

Actor Interactions

Meet characters from many realms who roam the venue and engage with guests.

Scavenger Hunt

A venue-wide hunt filled with clues and surprises.

Selfie Spots

Beautiful themed areas for guests to take their own photos.

Children’s Activity Zones

Colouring stations, jumping castles, and more. Children must be supervised at all times.

Free General Parking

All entrance tickets include free access to the general parking area.

Evening Activities

Stay tuned, our evening activities will be announced in January - some included in your entrance ticket, some not.

Optional Paid Activities (Available January)

All classes, workshops, and realm-specific activations require individual tickets.

Each activity is assigned a specific time slot. When purchasing, guests select the exact times that suit them, allowing them to build a personalised schedule for their day.

This system ensures smooth flow, reduced queuing, and complete control over your experience.

Examples include:

  • Magical academy classes (Potions, Divination, and Herbology, and similar subjects)
  • Small themed activations in the extended realms, such as storytelling sessions, thematic challenges, creative crafts, or combat-inspired demonstrations
  • The Labyrinth: a venue-wide escape-room-style game (booked and paid for at the Info Booth on the day)

Vendor-hosted crafting activities, such as miniature painting or wand-making, will need to be purchased from the vendors on the day, as well as the greenscreen photo prints or videos sent to you, offered by the photography vendor

All activity tickets are sold exclusively through our website, so they can be grouped under a single order number. This will make collection on the day a much faster and smoother experience.

Activity tickets will only be sold at the venue if they do not sell out online.

Special Add-Ons

Multi-Theme Goody Bags

A selection of mystery bags inspired by various realms, available exclusively on our website in January. These also include priority queues at the entrance, as well as the info booth.

We do not have priority queues for the food vendors, but we have a wide selection of new food vendors that are not dictated by the venue, so we will have a much smoother process. Each food vendor will have their own separate queue.

Head Student Packages

Not offered this year, though accommodation may be booked directly with the venue.

The New Venue

While not a castle, the new location offers Old-World charm, a magical atmosphere, and significantly more space than before.

Its size has allowed us to expand into additional realms and activities. The move to this venue introduces new logistics, which is why activity tickets will only be made available in January.

Important Notes

  • Entrance tickets will be available at the door.
  • Activity tickets will be sold on-site only if online tickets do not sell out.
  • Activities will be released in January due to the additional logistics involved with a new venue.
  • Entrance and activity tickets are now separate to prevent the issues experienced in previous years and to give guests full control over their schedule.

Prepare your robes, polish your wands, and step into a gathering where wizards from every universe can explore, learn, and discover a world filled with magic.
