Schubert wrote this 50-minute quintet two months before he died at 31. It’s gorgeous, devastating, and rarely heard the way it deserves - with proper attention and zero distractions.
We’re doing guided listening: House of Shem walks you through what to listen for, we all focus together (phones away, proper sound system), then we talk about what we heard. No classical music knowledge needed. Just curiosity and two hours.
