End Period Poverty – Cliff Path Charity Walk (Hermanus)

Join us in Hermanus for a scenic and meaningful walk along the Hermanus Cliff Path to raise awareness about period poverty and support underprivileged schoolgirls with sanitary pads. Every step you take helps a girl go to school with confidence.

In South Africa, an estimated 7 million girls miss school every month due to period poverty. This translates to roughly 30% of school-going girls missing four to five

days of school each month, totalling about 25% of their learning time during the school year.

Your ticket directly supports a girl with sanitary pads for 6 months, and every participant will receive a goodie bag on the day! Participants will also have the opportunity to nominate a school of their choice to receive a one-year supply of sanitary pads. When you purchase a ticket, you’re not just joining a beautiful coastal walk — you are giving a girl the chance to stay in school.

This walk is open to everyone — families, friends, schools, corporates, fitness groups, and anyone who believes every girl deserves a fair chance. We will start with registration at 07:20 at Gearings Point and then proceed to walk to Poole's Bay Coastal Path (New Cliff Path).
