JMS PRESENTS ELVIN GANIYEV with MEGAN-GEOFFREY PRINS

The Johannesburg Musical Society returns to the Linder Auditorium in 2026 for a series featuring prestigious artists from Spain, Bulgaria, Russia, Azerbaijan, the UK and South Africa. Eight specially curated concerts shine the spotlight squarely on pianists, with a sprinkling of strings. All the artists have won multiple competitions and are highly sought after soloists and chamber musicians.

On Sunday 7 June, violinist Elvin Ganiyev presents a programme of French Masterpieces alongside pianist Megan-Geoffrey Prins with works by Debussy, Ravel and Franck. This concert is presented in collaboration with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra.

All Concerts take place on Sunday afternoons at 15:00 in the Linder Auditorium, Wits Education Campus, Parktown. There is safe, easy to find parking and on-site refreshments of coffee, tea, wine and snacks.
