More on the Show:
Morin imbues the spirit of Hemingway and shares his incredibly rich and rocky life journey. With an uncanny resemblance, the Hollywood native who worked in the TV and Film industry in L.A. for over 30 years is thrilled to be ‘back on the boards’ with his original piece. “It’s been quite a challenge getting him right.”
“Hem had an unusual upbringing and people have no idea who he was, how he was raised, how he died, or what his writing style is” says Morin, who’s played opposite Jennifer Aniston, Bill Paxton, Jacob Elordi and countless more.
The 60-minute one-hander is based on Hem’s writings and is mostly done using the author’s own words. It’s a brutally honest visit from the past with the legend himself.
"Morin's performance was a mirror held up to the soul.”
Hem was haunted by an horrific upbringing and battled ‘the black dog” (depression), alcoholism, and suicidal thoughts throughout his life. This reflective piece is equally riveting and sobering. Plus the selected prose peppered throughout is simply high art.
The reviews are promising…
"a piece of genius" "Morin is uncannily like Big Papa." "riveting"
"brilliant, edge of your seat stuff." "an unforgettable hour."
"a phenomenal piece of art... by the perfect actor for the job."
"Morin captures the essence of Hemingway and his writing."
