"It’s the second time I have had the pleasure of listening to one of Rob Caskie’s story telling . He is mesmerising. The story of Shackleton’s doomed venture but valiant and almost impossible rescue of his full team of men is brought to life so wel by this talented orator. Venus is ideally small for this presentation and the food and drink served was a good well priced accompaniment. Well done Alma Cafe "

"Another totally enjoyable concert vat the Alma Cafe. John Ellis and Jono Tait are two very talented songwriters, guitarists and singers and their sound and humour melded together so well. Delicious roti and malva pudding to top it all. Great atmosphere. More concerts like that please! "
