Westcoast Wellness Day

A day of movement, yoga, Pilates, mindfulness, talks, treatments and other wellness goodies on offer.

You will either want to join this event simply to experience a full day of self-care and joy, regardless of where you live in Cape Town. OR or if you live in the Western Seaboard area of Cape Town (Milnerton to Melkbos), you will get to know the Yoga, Pilates and other movement studios that operate in this area and possibly try out one of their classes or at least find out more about their offerings

In addition, local providers from the area, will have stalls with their wonderful wellness offerings (treatments, products and accessories). If you are a wellness provider or your products will be a nice addition to the day, and would like to enquire about having a stall at the event, please contact Michael [email protected]

Things to know:

• This event takes place at the Sunningdale Sports Complex in Sunningdale (Blouberg area of Cape Town)
• You will need to bring your own yoga / Pilates mat and of course a bottle of water.
• Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in. However, this is Cape Town, so it is best to wear layers that you can take off and put back on. Maybe a backpack with all your goodies.
• Purchasing a ticket includes the acknowledgement that you are medically well enough to participate in the classes and that the organisers, instructors and the facility can not be held liable for any injury, illness or death as a result of joining the event. In addition, taking care of your valuables is your responsibility and the organisers, instructors and the facility cannot be held liable for any loss of property.
• Although there is no catering at the event, the venue is adjacent to the West Coast Shopping centre which has many eateries, coffee shops, a Woolies, PnP etc.
• There is plenty parking within the Sports Complex and additional parking can be found at the shopping mall if necessary.
• You will notice that there are two ticket types: One is for general admission to the event at R350 plus ticket fees. This entitles you to attend all the classes in the general class area. Certain smaller classes or treatments in the breakaway areas may have an extra cost, which would be paid for at the event. Then there is a donation ticket type which is optional. NB, The donation ticket alone does not grant you access to the event. We have selected a wonderful local charity doing amazing work with kids. Please don't feel pressured to make a donation but if you can the charity will certainly put this to good use, You will have the option of purchasing one donation ticket at R20 plus ticket fees, or multiple tickets, depending on how much your would like to offer.
