The Brent January Group | Johnman Concerts

The Brent January Group is a newly formed acoustic-electric ensemble consisting of Brent January (Acoustic Guitar) Pizzo Magatyana (Bass), Melisizwe Plaatjie (Piano) and Janine October (Drums). This Quartet blends different styles of music in a unique way that is both new and familiar to the listener. Their music showcases a wide array of influences, ranging from jazz and RnB to South African classics. The concert will be a journey through these influences, featuring everything from intimate soundscapes and intricate harmonies to grooves that will have you up on your feet dancing.
